‘Fantastic background’: Sussan Ley praised after appointment as Liberal leader
Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger reflects on Sussan Ley’s appointment as Leader of the Liberal Party, claiming her background is “fantastic”.
“The next three years in this country will be about the state of the economy, and it certainly helps when your leader has a masters in tax and accounting,” Mr Kroger told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“You’re talking with someone pretty sophisticated, and she’s also a very good communicator.
“I think she understands that she’s pretty tough and … her background is just fantastic.”
