Final days inside downtown Vancouver's flagship Hudson's Bay as shoppers search for deals
The end of an era is fast approaching, with Hudson’s Bay stores set to close across Canada on Sunday.
Some sections are cordoned off like a crime scene in the downtown Vancouver store as Canada’s oldest company liquidates its stores.
The 355-year-old business must vacate all of its properties by the end of June but will spend the weeks after dismantling the stores and letting people who bought furniture and fixtures during the liquidation pick them up.
As shoppers at the flagship store grab what’s left in the final days, some are concerned the iconic building will be a magnet for crime.
