Fire contained, Table Mountain cleanup begins
Table Mountain National Park has begun mopping up operations after the fire, which started on Friday, has been largely contained.
Temperatures dropped overnight, with mist and drizzle in affected areas.
The fire stretched more than 30 kilometres in the Cape Peninsula between Tokai and Noordhoek.
As a precaution, around 200 people were evacuated from their homes and have since returned.
No lives nor property were in danger.
