First sperm races held on 'World’s smallest racetrack'
What was billed as the “world’s first sperm” race event took place on Friday, April 25, in Los Angeles, marking a bold new chapter in science and sport, aimed at raising awareness about reproductive health.
This event featured sperm samples racing head-to-head on a tiny custom-built racetrack designed to simulate the human reproductive system.
The event featured three races. Footage here shows the race between Tristan Mykel of UCLA and Asher Proeger of USC, where Mykel came out victorious.
The event is part of an effort to transform male fertility into a competitive, even Olympic-worthy, sport, Sperm Racing said.
