Focus on producing quality red meat
The Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform has reiterated its call for farmers to form structures for inclusive growth.
It made the call during the launch of the newly formed National Livestock Farmers Association of South Africa at Willowvale in the Eastern Cape.
The structure, mainly made up of black farmers, will focus on red meat production and the transformation of the industry.
The aim is to increase black farmers’ participation.
