‘Folly of net zero’: European countries hit by ‘chaos’ in blackouts
Sky News host James Macpherson discusses the “chaos” which occurred due to the recent blackouts in Spain and Portugal due to their “commitment to net zero”.
“Flights were grounded, trains just stopped mid track, traffic was gridlocked … mobile phone networks did not work,” Mr Macpherson said.
“There were 286 rescues of people in elevators, just absolute chaos and pandemonium.”
