Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has discussed revelations revealed on Sunday that former premiers, MPs and other state officials are exempt from Labor’s controversial super tax.
“There are a lot of people who, because of constitutional arrangements, aren’t going to cop this tax,” he said.
“I think the government’s relying on the fact that most people don’t have a lot of sympathy for people with three million in their super fund.
“It’s definitely a Robin Hood tax.”
