The asbestos roof removal court case resumes tomorrow with a trial within a trial to test the court’s jurisdiction to try Moroadi Cholota who is accused 17 on the matter.
Trial Judge Phillip Loubser granted Cholota who is the former personal assistant for the then Free State Premier Ace Magashule, an opportunity to ventilate her claims that her extradition was unlawful.
18 accused including Magashule, businessman Edwin Sodi and others are on a trial on charges relating to an alleged irregular awarding of R255-million asbestos roof eradication contract in 2014.
