Freedom Day 2025 | Freedom still haunted by social ills in E Cape
The Eastern Cape government marks Alfred Nzo’s centenary as they celebrate Freedom Day. Alfred Nzo was an liberation struggle stalwart and he remained steadfast to free the oppressed majority of South Africans. Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane assured the people of Matatiele that social ills will be rooted out and government will continue to render services to the people to fulfill the freedom charter.
