From ‘tree huggers’ to supporting ‘communist conspired causes’: The Greens downfall
Sky News contributor Gary Hardgrave claims the Greens Party was “too busy trying to fight cultural wars” and promoting “communist conspired causes” which led to them losing three of their four seats in the lower house.
Mr Hardgrave suggests the Greens’ loss is due to “picking the wrong side” of the conflict in the Middle East.
“I think their pro-Palestinian stance lost them a hell of a lot of votes from people who thought they were still tree huggers.” Mr Hardgrave said.
“The Greens have lost their way; they’re no longer caring for the environment.”
