Gauteng ANC provincial Task Team Lekgotla | Analyst Bongani Mahlangu weighs in
Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says municipalities within Gauteng have signed an agreement that allows them to pool together their policing resources in the fight against crime. Lesufi was speaking on the first day of the two-day ANC provincial Task Team (PTT) Lekgotla under way in Fourways.
Lesufi says this agreement is what made it possible for the province to assist the SAPS in locating the three Free State police officers whose bodies were retrieved from the Hennops River in Centurion, Pretoria, on Tuesday.
