George Wendt, beloved 'Cheers' star, dies at 76
George Wendt, best known for playing beer-loving everyman barfly Norm Peterson in the popular sitcom ‘Cheers’ from 1982 to 1993, has died at the age of 76.
Wendt was nominated for six consecutive supporting actor Emmys during his time on the comedy series.
