'Gesture politics': Democrats host 12 hour sit-in protest on US Capitol steps
UnHerd Newsroom Editor James Billot has labelled the Capitol-steps protest by Democrats as “bizarre”.
Democrats Hakeem Jeffries and Cory Booker led a sit-in on the Capitol’s steps to protest a Republican budget proposal.
“I really just cannot make heads or tails of what they’re trying to achieve here,” Mr Billot told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“It’s these kinds of gesture politics that were so symptomatic of the 2016 era.”
