Godongwana to present revised budget on 21 May
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana will present another national budget to parliament on 21 May.
This comes after the government decided to scrap the previously proposed 0.5 percentage point Value-Added Tax increase after it was widely criticised.
Godongwana says the budget will have to be balanced without raising VAT while protecting vital services like education, health and social grants.
