The ongoing inquest into the death of Chief Albert Luthuli, currently being held in the Pietermaritzburg High Court, has recalled a previous witness, Thulani Thusi, who is the Heritage Educator of the Luthuli Museum.
The inquest, which was extended last week, seeks to have the findings of the original inquest of 1967 overturned.
The first inquest found that Luthuli’s death was an accident after he was hit by a train in Groutville, KwaZulu-Natal.
