Growing concern over lead levels in Milwaukee public schools
Milwaukee’s public school district is inspecting 100 aging buildings after 4 children tested positive for elevated lead levels. Meanwhile, Milwaukee’s health commissioner said he requested help from lead experts at the CDC, but that the agency told him they cannot assist because of federal layoffs.
