    A gunman has been shot dead by police after opening fire inside a Las Vegas gym.

    It is understood the armed man entered the Las Vegas Athletic Club on Friday before firing multiple rounds.

    One person was killed, and multiple others were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    The gunman was shot by police and later confirmed dead.
