Gwarube launches ECD expansion campaign
The ministry of Basic Education is launching a transformative campaign to expand access to quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) in South Africa.
The aim is to register ten thousand ECD centres this year.
The minister, Siviwe Gwarube, is collaborating with the private sector and civil society to ensure every child, up to the age of five, benefits from early education.
