Hamas has shown ‘very little willingness’ to negotiate with Israel as Middle East war heats up
Israel’s spokesperson to the United Nations Jonathan Harounoff claims Hamas has shown “very little willingness” to come to the negotiating table amid Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.
“Israel’s goal is to end this war, to end Hamas, and to ensure that all 58 hostages still held in brutal captivity return home,” he told Sky News Australia.
This comes after Israel’s military claimed it had begun an extensive ground operation in northern and southern Gaza.
Gaza’s health officials say over 100 people have been killed in an intense air campaign.
