Aviation stakeholders attending the 37th International Air Transport Association, IATA ground handling conference have called for collaboration and consolidation within the continent to enhance Africa’s competitiveness globally. According to Kenya Airways CEO Allan Kilavuka, high taxes on the continent, as well as fragmented regulations, hinder air traffic growth.
