Met with both roasts and praise, the comments online follow a discussion about Trump’s border closure on CNN’s Newsnight with Abby Phillip.
Host Abby Phillip said the United States President had “succeeded” by closing the southern border.
“Trump has succeeded, he has shut the border down, there are no border crossings virtually happening right now in this country,” Phillip said.
