Health CS Aden Duale says Polio, BCG vaccines will arrive next month
Millions of children due for vaccination may have to wait for another month, with the Ministry of Health now saying the country’s vaccine supplies will be replenished by mid-June. The country has been facing acute BCG and polio vaccine shortages, owing to the failure by the treasury to release co-financing payments to international vaccine partners, GAVI and UNICEF. Health CS Aden Duale says the 900 million shillings co-payment has finally been released.
