Historic Australian space launch delayed
Australia’s first homegrown orbital rocket launch into space from Queensland has been delayed.
The Australian-made rocket, capable of launching satellites from orbit, was supposed to launch from a cattle paddock in Bowen, North Queensland.
The official launch window was from 7:30 Thursday morning, but at about 6:30am, Gilmour Space Technologies confirmed the rocket would not launch due to an identified issue.
