According to him, after last year's failure, the enemy "broke its teeth" on the defensive positions of the Ukrainian military.<br /><br />"The Lyman direction is quite specific, and until yesterday the situation was unstable. But the Liman direction is quite large, and there are several smaller sections in this direction," the military man explained.<br /><br />Yashchishin also described the current situation in the Liman direction, noting that the number of attacks was reduced to almost zero and only here and there were attempts at attacks by the enemy recorded.<br /><br />"In 2025, in the area of responsibility of the 63rd Brigade, there are relatively few assaults on our positions. Why? Because throughout the past year, we repelled enemy attacks every day - there were more than 300 of them. And if you look at the map, you can see that we have not lost our positions - we are holding them. Therefore, we conclude that the enemy has broken its teeth on our positions and is now trying to look for other directions. Therefore, it is quite possible that my colleagues from other brigades will report different information," he added.<br /><br />Let us recall that the occupation army of the aggressor country Russia has sharply intensified its efforts in the Lyman direction , where the number of military clashes is greater than in other sections of the front, except for the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported on air by the representative of the OSUV "Khortytsia" Viktor Tregubov. According to him, the enemy is working on transferring additional troops to the Liman direction, including across the Zherebets River. Thus, the occupiers create a threat to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "In this direction, the enemy's assault actions have become very active and more frequent. The Liman direction has already reached second place in terms of the number of combat clashes, which has not happened for a long time.
