‘I have no idea what’s going on’: Barnaby Joyce dismisses Nationals leadership rumours
Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce has dismissed speculation he is involved in a bid to oust party leader David Littleproud.
Appearing on Sky News Australia, Mr Joyce was pressed on rumours that he was part of a so-called “ticket” working behind the scenes to destabilise Littleproud’s leadership after two weeks of chaos within the Coalition ranks.
“No, I don’t … I don’t know who’s speaking that to the media,” Mr Joyce said.
“No one’s rung me up for numbers or inquiring.
“I have no idea what’s going on.”
