“Ideological LUNACY” Richard Tice Rages At ‘Net Stupid Zero’ | ‘Britain Faces Blackouts!’
Reform UK deputy leader Richard Tice slams the Government’s pursuit of Net Zero, and says the policy is likely to be the cause of widespread power cuts in Spain and Portugal on Monday.
A No 10 spokesman said it is too early to confirm the cause of the incident and defended the Government’s energy transition plans.
Labour has further been forced to defend the current climate approach after former prime minister Sir Tony Blair said it is “doomed to fail”.
He argued that Net Zero “isn’t working”, with the debate having “become irrational” and people “turning away from the politics of the issue because they believe the proposed solutions are not founded on good policy”.
Joining Talk’s Jeremy Kyle, Mr Tice says it is “a matter of when not if” Britain faces blackouts.
