Inauguration of Pope Leo XIV takes place
Tens of thousands of well-wishers have gathered to witness Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration Mass.
Among the crowds were dignitaries and leaders from around the world, including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and the Duke of Edinburgh, who briefly spoke before the inauguration.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the trip to the Vatican to mark the occasion, alongside US Vice President JD Vance.
