Independents to keep majority Labor government 'accountable': Dai Le
Independent MP Dai Le has said Independents members of parliament will need to keep a majority Labor government “accountable”, following the party’s landslide win in the federal election.
“Because with their majority, they can push legislations through without any check and balances and that is going to be [a] concern,” Ms Le told Sky News Australia.
Ms Le said it’s up to the Independents to ensure Labor “keeps to its word” and responsibly manages the economy.
