India sends stern warning to Pakistan over alleged ceasefire violations
India has warned Pakistan over potential violations of the ceasefire deal between the two nations following recent attacks.
According to Reuters, New Delhi sent a “hotline message” to Pakistan it intends to respond if the violations are repeated.
Reuters reported that a top Indian army officer sent the message, while Pakistan’s military spokesperson denied any ceasefire violations.
India’s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) spoke about the fragile deal holding despite both alleging the other had violated the ceasefire deal.
During a press conference, Pakistan’s military representative spoke to members of the country’s air force and navy.
“No violation is being made by the Pakistan army or armed forces of the ceasefire,” the spokesperson said.
The truce between India and Pakistan was announced on Saturday following four days of back-and-forth attacks between the two nuclear nations.
