A days-long system of intense rainfall has forced more than 30 schools to be closed, roads to be cut off and dozens to be evacuated overnight on the NSW Central Coast and in the Hunter Valley. People in parts of the Paterson, Dungog and Ferndale Caravan Park received emergency evacuation orders, while residents in parts of Bulahdelah and Gloucester Caravan Park were also told to leave.
