‘It’ll work out’: Coalition split unlikely to last
Former speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says the split of the Coalition will “work out” because the Liberals cannot win without the Nationals.
“It’ll work out – and I’ll tell you why, because we have a compulsory preferential voting system, it means it’s a two-party system,” Ms Bishop told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
“The Liberals cannot win without the Nationals.”
