‘It’s just so depressing’: Jim Chalmers to legislate Labor’s super tax
IPA Senior Fellow and Chief Economist Adam Creighton says it would be “terrible” if Treasurer Jim Chalmers legislates Labor’s super tax.
“This is a terrible tax, especially the unrealised gains component,” Mr Creighton told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“It’s just so depressing.
“I hope … maybe the Liberals can negotiate with Labor to pass a less bad tax.”
