Joshlin Smith | Convicted kidnappers to be sentenced today
Sentencing proceedings in the Joshlin Smith kidnapping and human trafficking trial, are expected to get underway in Saldanha Bay on Tuesday.
The Western Cape High Court convicted Joshlin’s mother Kelly Smith, her boyfriend Jacquen Appollis and Steveno van Rhyn, on kidnapping and trafficking charges earlier this month of May 2025.
