Judicial Conduct Tribunal | Lunguist Dr Zakeera Docrat testifies in Judge misconduct case
The Judicial Conduct Tribunal, probing sexual harassment allegations against Eastern Cape Judge President Selby Mbenenge, is continuing with Forensic and Legal Linguist Dr Zakeera Docrat taking the stand. The Tribunal is investigating allegations that Mbenenge sexually harassed Judges’ Secretary Andiswa Mengo through explicit messages and other inappropriate conduct. Docrat says her role in the proceedings was to interpret emojis used and establish the context of messages between the complainant and defendant.
