Shivambu’s visit to the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church has caused a stir in South Africa, with many questioning why the MK Party’s Secretary-General chose to visit a fugitive who is wanted by South African law enforcement agencies.
A court in Malawi has ruled that Bushiri and his wife can be extradited to South Africa.
The Bushiri’s face charges that include rape, violation of bail conditions and breaching financial and immigration laws.
