Justice Minister sets TRC inquiry in motion
The terms of reference for the judicial inquiry to probe whether attempts were made to prevent the prosecution of cases emanating from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission have been finalized.
This is according to the Justice and Constitutional Development Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi.
She was speaking on the sidelines of the reburial of two MK combatants, Benjamin Moloise and Abraham Mngomezulu, who were executed in 1985 and 1989 by the apartheid government, respectively.
Earlier this week, President Ramaphosa announced that he had established a judicial inquiry that would investigate hindrances encountered in investigating TRC cases.
