Keep The Sheep movement ‘disappointed’ with Labor’s win
Keep The Sheep Spokesman John Hassall says the Labor party winning the federal election is a “disappointing result” due to their policy to shut down the live sheep industry.
“Of course, we’re disappointed the Labor party still gets its way, but we still have until 2028 to have an effect on this and to stop the government from implementing this really terrible policy decision,” Mr Hassall told Sky News Australia.
“The very fact that the sheep shut down means that we’ll lose people out of our towns, we’ll lose our schools, we’ll lose our local IGAs. “
