King Charles speaks at Victory in Europe Day anniversary
King Charles reinstated calls for world peace during a Victory in Europe Day speech.
“We should rededicate ourselves, not only to the cause of freedom, but to renewing global commitments to restoring a just peace where there is war,” King Charles said.
His Majesty also paid tribute to his late grandfather, King George VI, and his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
