Labor’s ‘broken promise’ amid controversial super tax proposal
Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume has labelled Labor’s controversial superannuation tax a “broken promise”.
“This tax has been bad from day one, and that’s why we opposed it from day one,” she told Sky News Australia.
“I mean, let’s face it, the election before last, the government said – Labor said there would be no new taxes and no changes to super, but they immediately backflipped on that promise.”
