Labor’s budget proves they ‘couldn’t care less’ about the Australian people
George Washington University Professor Steven Hamilton discusses the Labor government’s recent federal budget.
“This year the deficit; if the government had just sat on its hands, done nothing, the deficit would be $5 billion, instead it’s $47 billion,” Mr Hamilton told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“All of the decisions the government has taken has turned a $5 billion deficit into a $47 billion deficit.
“It wouldn’t be hard to turn a $5 billion deficit into a surplus and they blew it away, so obviously that’s showing us that they couldn’t care less.”
