Labor’s emphasis on Dutton’s similarities to Trump got to the point of ‘ridiculousness’
Sky News host Caleb Bond claims Labor’s emphasis on outgoing Opposition leader Peter Dutton’s comparisons to President Donald Trump became a thing of ridicule.
“The comparison to Trump, which undoubtedly did hurt Dutton but it got to the point of ridiculousness,” Mr Bond said.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese successfully claimed a second consecutive term against the outgoing Opposition leader as Peter Dutton’s time as party leader comes to an abrupt end.
