Larissa Waters faces ‘something of a challenge’ as the new Greens leader
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has discussed the Greens electing Senator Larissa Waters as their leader after Adam Bandt lost his seat in the federal election.
“The view amongst the MPs and party membership was that Waters was the best candidate to take the party forward,” he said.
“Waters now faces something of a challenge, with the Greens now holding just one House of Representatives seat but being able to pass legislation in the Senate on their own with Labor.”
