The military official explained that Ukrainian army’s main efforts are focused on holding back Russian troops on the threatened fronts, which are primarily Sumy and Kursk, Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka. “We are using active defence tactics. Thanks to these actions, our soldiers had regained 115 positions over the past month," Syrskyi said. The commander-in-chief said 62 targets were hit in Russian territory with the use of UAVs in April. The military official said the process was underway to elevate Ukrainian army units to the level of brigades with enhanced UAV component. Earlier, Syrskiy revealed that Ukrainian drone operators targeted and destroyed over 83,000 Russian targets in April, which is eight per cent more than in March.
