LGE 2026 | Make or break for SACP: Canny Maphanga reports
The journey to the 2026 Local Government Elections for the first-time contender, the SACP, will require more work for the party to secure votes. That’s the view of political analyst Dr Levy Ndou, following the SACP and CONTRALESA’s bilateral meeting in Johannesburg on Friday to discuss issues of local government and traditional leadership. Ndou says these elections are make or break for the ANC-led Tripartite Alliance.
