Liberal candidate Tim Wilson declares victory in Goldstein again
Incoming Liberal Goldstein MP Tim Wilson has credited a hard reset and deep community engagement for his victory in Goldstein.
Mr Wilson reclaimed the seat of Goldstein by a slim 128 votes over independent teal Zoe Daniel.
When asked why he thinks he won the seat during an interview with Sky News Australia, he said he and the party took a brutally honest look at its 2022 loss, listened carefully to voters, and built a “substantial” campaign.
