Liberal MP for Menzies is not at ‘conceding stage yet’
The Liberal Party has seen major losses in the city of Melbourne, particularly around the eastern suburbs.
The Liberal candidates have tried to stay positive, with Liberal MP for Menzies Keith Wolahan saying the counting of the votes is “too close to call”.
“It is a long shot, so it’s more likely than not that I will lose it, but I’m not at conceding stage yet,” Mr Wolahan said.
“We need to really dig deep and think about who we are and who we fight for.”
