Liberal Party agrees to Nationals’ policy demands
Nationals Leader David Littleproud has revealed the Liberal Party is prepared to accept the four policy areas which caused the Nationals to leave the Coalition agreement.
“Over the last day, I received the written response, the confirmation that the Liberal Party is prepared to accept the four policy areas that were the reason we couldn’t sign up to that Coalition agreement,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
“There will be further discussions with Sussan and I over the coming week, but, obviously, we’ve been very clear that there was four policy areas that were the reason we left.”
