Liberal Party need to ‘put their heads together’ to create genuine policies
Women’s Forum Australia’s Stephanie Bastiaan discusses Sussan Ley becoming the first female to lead the federal Liberal Party in Australian history.
“What will make them electable is having policies, tackling difficult policies that the public wants to vote for,” Ms Bastiaan told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“They actually need to put their heads together and come up with genuine policies.
“Having more women there isn’t necessarily going to bring in more female voters or any voters across the board; you actually need good policy.”
