Liberal Party needs the Nationals now ‘more than ever’
Sky News host Caleb Bond discusses an “extraordinary day” in Australian political history as the Liberal and National coalition have split for the first time in almost 40 years.
Nationals leader David Littleproud on Tuesday announced his party would leave the Coalition with the Liberal Party.
“The Liberals need the Nationals now more than ever,” Mr Bond said.
“Drop net zero, keep nuclear, and build a genuine alternative for government.”
