Lupus Classic cyclists ride for awareness, hope for greater participation
A group of cyclists who participated in a 100km Lupus Classic Cycling race in Kimberley in the Northern Cape are hopeful that next year’s event will attract more people. Cyclists are raising awareness about Lupus and are promoting healthy living through cycling.
Lupus is an inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its tissues.
It can affect the joints, kidneys, brain, heart and lungs.
